- Pool Temporarily Closed – Iguana Activity
Dear all, The outdoor pool is temporarily closed due to iguana droppings found in/around the pool. For everyone’s health and safety, the pool will remain closed today while it is properly cleaned and treated. We also want to remind residents not to feed iguanas at any time. Feeding wildlife encourages them to remain in populated areas, increases property damage, and creates additional sanitation issues around the community. As a reminder, the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) classifies iguanas as an invasive species. Property owners are legally permitted to remove or humanely kill iguanas on their own property , following all state guidelines for humane practices. We appreciate your cooperation as we work to keep the pool area clean, safe, and enjoyable for all. Thank you, ~Your Association Team
- Volunteers needed...
Please call the office at 239-466-1155 if you are able to help on either or both Fridays after the holidays (Thanksgiving & Christmas) to do the 9:00 am recycle and 12:30 pm trash collection. Thank you in advance for the assistance in helping keep the park clean and allowing the staff to enjoy some well-deserved vacation time. ~ Your Association Team
- Please Plan Ahead...
This is a reminder that the office is open from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm , Monday through Friday. Please schedule any large truck deliveries during office hours whenever possible. During these hours, we can open both sides of the entrance gate to ensure easier access into the park. Reminder no 18-wheelers should be admitted in the park due to limited turning radius roads. The same applies when bringing in or taking out campers, RVs, fifth wheels, and similar large vehicles. Please note a new lock was installed for the exit gate fence panel and we prefer to assist with opening the small swinging arm if needed. Board members currently in residence may also be available to help with the exit gate after hours or on weekends with advance notice. Thank you for your cooperation and assistance in planning ahead for smoother operations. ~Your Association Team

Dear All, We know that horseshoes has been on the calendar for a while — but this time we mean it: we’re ready to play! Our returning residents and renters will officially begin play today. Games will continue three times a week — Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays — always at 9:00 a.m. Interested in joining? Curious and want to learn? Or maybe you just want to make some new friends? Come on by and toss a few shoes — everyone’s welcome!
- Thank you for your service
Today, and every day, we pause to honor the brave men and women who have served in our nation’s armed forces. Their courage, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication protect the freedoms and values we hold dear. To all veterans — thank you for your service, your strength, and your continued commitment to our communities long after your time in uniform. Your example reminds us what it means to serve something greater than ourselves. We are deeply grateful for your contributions and proud to stand in appreciation of everything you’ve given. Special thanks to David Forster for installing the flags along Corallite and the front office area. Enjoy your day and be sure to always thank the veterans you may encounter. ~ Your Association Team
- UPDATE on the paving project!
We Love Our New Asphalt — And We’re Working on a Few Repairs We are thrilled with the fresh new asphalt throughout our community — it has truly improved the look, feel, and safety of our roads. Thank you to everyone for your patience during the paving work. The upgrade has been a long-awaited improvement, and we are grateful to see our property looking better than ever. As with any large-scale project, there are a few areas that still need attention. We are aware of the catch basins that require repair, and the contractor is addressing that today into tomorrow. Additionally, a few residents experienced damage during the paving project. Those will be addressed today as well. Lapwing & Oakdale Corner Update Please note that the NW corner of Lapwing and Oakdale requires extensive repair. This area will need to be remilled and new asphalt poured to ensure a long-lasting fix. To allow proper curing time and avoid disruption during peak season, the full repair will take place after season . In the meantime, a temporary patch will be installed to maintain safe and usable conditions. Gate Access The exit gate has been temporarily open due to severed wiring between the underground plate and the gate tower that was unavoidable during our sewer line project. Our vendor is already scheduled, and repairs are expected to be completed this week . In addition, the entrance gates will remain open today and tomorrow to allow access for the repair team and equipment. Thank you again for your patience and cooperation throughout this project. We are happy to enjoy the new roadways and are committed to completing the remaining work as quickly as possible. ~Your Association Team
- Smooth roads ahead!
Thank you to everyone for your patience as we have completed the paving project that included Corallite, Bubble Shell, Wild Flax, and Oakdale. In addition to the planned project, we expanded the scope to extend drainage lines and added a few more catch basins on Corallite that hopefully will get more water off the road and into the drainage ditch where it belongs! Striping is the final piece of the puzzle and is happening Friday 10/31. Please be mindful and avoid driving over any newly applied paint for the stop bars and speed limit markings. They will be doing all of the areas that were paved as well as the entrance, office parking and 1st - 14th where it meets Corallite. Future paving projects have yet to be planned but will happen. ~Your Association Team
- 📢 Trash & Recycle Pickup Moved to Thursday This Week Only
Dear All; Please note that this week only , trash and recycling will be collected on Thursday instead of Friday. This change is due to the paving project being ahead of schedule and asphalt work expected on Friday. Recycling: Please place out by 9:00 AM Trash: Please put out by 12:30 PM Remember, all trash bags must be securely tied . Untied bags will not be collected and you will need to dispose of your own trash. Again, trash and recycling collection is a day early this week . Please do NOT put anything out on Friday as it will not be collected. Also, we ask that you please keep your travels to a minimum on Friday while asphalt is being laid. If you absolutely need to drive out on the beautiful new asphalt, please do not make any sharp turns and observe the 10 MPH speed limit. And refrain from scheduling deliveries on Friday, unless unavoidable and medically required. Thank you for your cooperation and help keeping the community clean during the paving project! Lastly, the outdoor pool heater is still broken. Service is anticipated on Thursday. Additionally, the outdoor pool is currently closed while being shocked. It will open tomorrow morning at the latest. Thank you. Your Association Team
