Update week ending October 23rd, 2026
Updated: 7 hours ago
Good morning and Hello Holiday Condo!
The board and management team are happy to provide the owners with the latest summary of our current projects and updates.
Fiber Optic - WE ARE LIVE!
The first kick-off meeting with our T-Mobile representative is Thursday, November 5th at 10am in the North Hall. In the meantime, you should have seen a mailer or two, plus residents have three ways to look into their options for ordering fiber service.

Call 1-844-303-0707
Go to the Cleveland Ave location or your local T-Mobile store and speak to an agent firsthand
Scheduling your installation online is very easy. And the technicians have been very thorough.
Governing Documents
The revised HC Condominium Governing Documents have been distributed to the owners via the HC Website and email. Three copies of the current and proposed documents can be found at the South Hall. Two owner’s workshops have been held at the South Hall and via Zoom. Weekly blogs are posted to the HC Website, and email, where owners can go to see factual comparisons between the existing and proposed documents. We are committed to providing our ownership with the most accurate information enabling you to make your decision. Again, these are DRAFT documents, and we welcome all input (we prefer civil) and questions.
If you have questions regarding our governing documents, or park policy, please ask a board member or the office. You will likely get more opinion than fact on Facebook.
Water Valve Replacement
Six additional valves have been identified for replacement.
Due to a scheduling conflict our valve replacement project is tentatively scheduled for the week of November 2nd. We will have more details later this week as to when a water outage might take place. Please make plans to have drinking water available the entire day, and water to flush toilets.
NOTE: There are a few plumbing valve locations that are still exposed, so do watch your step.
If by chance you are still experiencing low water pressure, we recommend you change the aerators on your sinks and showers to ensure there is no sediment reducing your water flow. Additionally, if you have a whole house water filter, we recommend those be changed as well. After a water shutdown it is strongly suggested to follow Lee County guidelines for a boil water order.
Street improvements
D&G Asphalt was on site this past week completing the paint striping.
Parking
This is a reminder that the parking area on Holiday Condo Drive, west of the outdoor pool, is by permit only. If your vehicle is parked in that area, you will receive a violation.
Speeding
Speeding continues to be a problem with both renters, outside vendors, and unfortunately a few of our owners. Installation of speed humps were discussed at our BOD meeting on October 8th. We also discussed the possible installation of a speed control sign which can take photos of the violator. The 10 MPH speed limit applies to all motorized vehicles, including e-bikes and golf carts.
Power
The park continues to have sporadic power outages. If you experience a power outage, please call FPL directly. After calling FPL you should report to the office as well. If FPL states the power outage is not related to FPL, please call an electrician directly.
Please be mindful of the cord covers that have been placed by FPL across the streets. There is one on Valleyview.
Change Requests
Our documents clearly state any addition or change in appearance or structure of the exterior of your unit, requires an approved “change request.” This includes concrete and pavers, shutters, exterior painting, etc. Additionally, any structural additions, decks, and some repairs to your unit require a county permit. If you proceed without following these rules, you will be subject to a violation and turned into the county.
Landscape Lighting
We wish to thank Pete Lallo, Bob Heckman, and Dick Crissinger for their hard work in repairing and installing new landscape lighting fixtures. Work has been completed at the horseshoe area, and the park area will be next, followed by the dog walk area. Our volunteers help keep our maintenance fees in check and we cannot thank them enough.

Palm Trees / Landscaping
VRS was on site trimming the seed pods from our Royal Palm trees. They will also be providing an estimate to clean up the area between Corralite and our neighbors to the east.
Our maintenance technician, Kaleb, trimmed the overhanging brush on Corralite.
Upcoming projects
We look forward to the following upcoming projects.
Painting the exterior of the North Hall as soon as our contractor can fit us in his schedule.
Our new landscaping company will be installing plants in the park.
And it is time for the annual mulch refresh!
Please check the Holiday Condo Website for important updates and information. The Board of Directors and Park Management do not post official information on any of the following FB pages: Happenings, Connections, and Advocates. Anything you read on these pages should be treated as “opinions” and not facts.
Lastly, I want to thank Pete Lallo, the management team, and our maintenance staff for all they do. It takes a huge effort to keep the park operating, regardless of the number of people on site.
Thank you,
Kevin Stevens, President
