Comment: "Loss of Voting Power: Nearly 90% of the changes remove the owners' right to vote on park decisions and personal property."

FACT:

Please see comparison of all owner's voting rights in the current docs versus the proposed documents HERE. The bottom line, this is a 100% FALSE statement on FB.

Comment: "The state senate did change laws (FS 718) between 2014 and 2025—mostly regarding structural safety after the Surfside collapse. However, Florida law automatically overrides old rules if there is a conflict. A massive 52-page overhaul that strips away our rights is a choice by the board, not a state mandate." FACT: Since Holiday Condominium's governing documents were last comprehensively updated in 2014, the Florida Legislature has substantially revised Chapter 718, Florida Statutes. While the most widely publicized reforms followed the 2021 Surfside condominium collapse and focused on structural safety for buildings three stories or higher, many other statutory amendments were unrelated to Surfside. These changes addressed condominium governance, board member education, elections, electronic voting, official records, insurance, financial management, reserve administration, and owner protections. Because Holiday Condominium is a single-story horizontal condominium, several of the structural safety provisions do not apply to the Association; however, many of the governance and operational changes enacted since 2014 do apply and are reflected in the proposed governing documents.

Comment: "The Ultimate Risk: There is even a clause giving the board the power to sell our park." FACT: Membership approval required under Declaration and statute. Again 100% FALSE comment on FB.
