Fiber Optic Installation Update...

As early as next week, the fiber installation crews will begin the final stages of burying conduit to support the new fiber optic cable system.

Homes along Irish Moss will be fed from the front (Corallite Lane) side of the street.

Most homes between Bubble Shell and Wildflax will be fed from between or behind the homes. Much of the information in the paragraph below also applies to this area.

Homes located between Wildflax and Oakdale will be fed from between or behind the homes. As residents in this area know, the easements between these homes contain sheds, concrete pavers, air conditioning units, electrical lines, water lines, communication cables, and other obstacles. This will be the most challenging portion of the installation within the community.

Please be prepared for the possibility of temporary utility disruptions and other inconveniences. To minimize the risk of damage to existing utilities, this area will be excavated entirely by hand. Patio areas may be impacted during the installation process. We strongly recommend that residents remove or relocate any personal property from these areas before work begins. As a reminder there is an easement along the backside of these lots and the association is not responsible for any damage caused as a result of this construction.

Homes along Oakdale will be fed from the front side of the homes, similar to the installation completed along Ariana. Lapwing is currently being worked on from the front at the time of this notice posting.

As crews continue their work throughout the community, we recognize that streets may occasionally be blocked by construction vehicles and equipment. Yesterday, a frustrated homeowner or renter drove through an empty lot and ran over newly installed fiber optic conduit, causing significant damage. While we understand that construction can be inconvenient, this type of behavior is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.

Thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation as we complete this exciting upgrade to our community's internet infrastructure. The finished project will provide faster, more reliable service for those that subscribe. ~Your Association Team
