Update week ending October 30th, 2026
Good afternoon, Holiday Condo, and Happy Monday!
I trust everyone had a great weekend.
The board and management team wanted to provide the owners with a summary of our current projects and updates.
Fiber Optic
WE ARE LIVE! The first kick-off meeting with our T-Mobile representative is Thursday, November 5th at 10am in the North Hall. In the meantime, you should have seen a mailer or two, plus residents have three ways to look into their options for ordering fiber service.
Call number on the above link.
Drive to Cleveland Ave T Mobile Store and speak to an agent firsthand.
Scheduling your installation online is very easy.
Governing Documents
The revised HC Condominium Governing Documents have been distributed to the owners via the HC Website and email. Three copies of the current and proposed documents can be found at the South Hall. Two owner’s workshops have been held at the South Hall and via Zoom. Weekly blogs are posted to the HC Website, and email, where owners can go to see factual comparisons between the existing and proposed documents. We are committed to providing our ownership with the most accurate information enabling you to make your decision. Again, these are DRAFT documents, and we welcome all input (we prefer civil) and questions.
If you have questions regarding our governing documents, or park policy, please ask a board member or the office. You will likely get more opinion than fact on Facebook.
Water Valve Replacement
Seven additional valves have been identified for replacement.
Due to a scheduling conflict our valve replacement project is scheduled for the week of November 2nd. The plumbing company will be excavating valves on Monday and Tuesday, and tentatively, a water outage will be scheduled for Wednesday, November 4th. Areas impacted will include, but not be limited to, lot 344, lot 387/391, lot 369, lot 364/365, lot 465, and the SE corner of the park. Please make plans to have drinking water available the entire day, and water to flush toilets.
Please be aware there are a few plumbing valve locations that are still exposed, do watch your step.
If by chance you are still experiencing low water pressure, we recommend you change the aerators on your sinks and showers to ensure there is no sediment reducing your water flow. Additionally, if you have a whole house water filter, we recommend those be changed as well. After a water shutdown it is strongly suggested to follow Lee County guidelines to boil water order.
Parking
This is a reminder that the parking area on Holiday Condo Drive, west of the outdoor pool, is by permit only. If your vehicle is parked in that area, you will receive a violation.
Speeding
Speeding continues to be a problem with both renters, outside vendors, and unfortunately a few of our owners. Installation of speed humps were discussed at our BOD meeting on October 8th. We also discussed the possible installation of a speed control sign which can take photos of the violator. The 10 MPH speed limit applies to all motorized vehicles, including E-bikes and golfcarts.
Power
The park continues to have sporadic power outages. If you experience a power outage, please call FPL directly. After calling FPL you should report to the office as well. If FPL states the power outage is not related to FPL, please call an electrician directly.
Please be mindful of the cord covers that have been placed by FPL across the streets and driveways.
Change Requests
Our documents clearly state any addition or change in appearance or structure of the exterior of your unit, requires an approved “change request.” This includes concrete and pavers, shutters, exterior painting, etc. Additionally, any structural additions, decks, and some repairs to your unit require a county permit. If you proceed without following these rules, you will be subject to a violation and turned into the county.
Landscape Lighting
We wish to thank Pete Lallo, Bob Heckman, and Dick Crissinger for their hard work in repairing and installing new landscape lighting. New lighting has been completed at the horseshoe area, and in the park. The dog walk area will be completed soon. Our volunteers help keep our maintenance fees in check and we cannot thank them enough.
Landscaping
Greenscapes was on site last week and installed new plants and shrubs at the front entrance, outdoor pool, and along Wildfax at the North Hall. Thanks to Larry and Mary Hoogerhyde, and Al and Leann Murphy who volunteered their time to water the plants over the weekend. We will be repairing our irrigation in the next week or two. We also have low water pressure issues at the front entrance, and we anticipate our valve replacement work will resolve that problem.
Upcoming projects
We look forward to the following upcoming projects.
We will begin painting the North Hall as soon as our contractor can fit us in his schedule.

Events
A big shout out and thank you to Marilyn Cummins, Loraine Bellucci, and all the volunteers who provided our residents with great fun, food, and entertainment at the Halloween Party. To all those who donned their creative costumes, you were awesome, and all winners!
“Please check the Holiday Condo Website for important updates and information. The Board of Directors and Park Management do not post information on Happenings, Connections, and Advocates.
Lastly, I want to thank Pete Lallo, the management teaman and our maintenance staff, for all they do. It takes a huge effort to keep the park operating, regardless of the number of people on site.
Thank you,
Kevin Stevens, President
